HONEST REVIEW "OPPENHEIMER" MOVIE
No matter how winding the story of Christopher Nolan's films goes through, no matter how complex the screenplay is, he is known for showing the feelings of 'love' and 'regret' at the core of the story in his own style. In his own style, he has deviated from the ordinary and prepared 'Oppenheimer' like a masterpiece. This is a film based on the disillusionment of a man, which will always be remembered. A man's greatest discovery and bravery becomes the greatest cause of his destruction. Oppenheimer may have been a brilliant man, but he was ignorant of the ways of the world. He spoke his mind. Trusting everyone and then paying the price for it.
The film starts like a psychological horror-investigative thriller. Many events recorded in the pages of history are repeated on screen. Nolan has used the IMAX camera very well to capture the detail on the screen. You feel very close to the actors on screen. Feel every changing color of their face, every unexpressed emotion and every falling tear. Especially in that horrific explosion scene, the loud roaring sound and the hide and seek of silence give a different kind of experience. Ludwig Goransson's music fills the film with uneasiness. It's like a ticking time bomb. Christopher Nolan increases your anxiety while keeping the clock ticking, gripping you so emotionally that you have no interest in letting go. In the end, when he frees his main character from the prison of his own guilt, you as the audience find yourself in tears.
Hardly anyone could have played the character of Oppenheimer better than Killian Murphy. His piercing blue eyes convey pain and quiet anger in a powerful way. Robert Downey Jr. and Emily Blunt are excellent in their respective roles.
